Aim of project: To use the programme “Original Play”™ to create a feeling of belonging among children from Austria and Poland. This is a pilot program to use original play as a means of cultural and social integration among children from European countries.

This is an innovative undertaking in Europe, demonstrating that through “Original Play”™ it is possible to remove linguistic and cultural   barriers, and at the same time create the fundamental and indispensable conditions for development of peace in the world.

In the Spring of 2008 children from Poland and Austria participated in this “Original Play”™ exchange program in Warsaw. Playing without the need for rivalry, competition, their play together created the physical and psychological conditions necessary for children of two different nationalities to feel accepted, safe, and quickly forget about their differences.

It is difficult to describe in words the reality of this joyful experience.  This meeting was a confirmation of  Dr. Donaldson's words  "Peace is in play of children".
